The very best high-grown Ceylon tea is blended with natural oil of Calabrian bergamot. A superb quality tea! Traditionally Earl Grey was a blend of Chinese and Indian teas scented with oil from the citrus bergamot fruit, a citrus fruit similar to oranges. We only use high grown teas from the top 3 tea growing regions of Sri Lanka - Eliya Dimbula and Uva. These three high-growing districts produce flavourful teas that have classic 'Ceylon' tea character which is noted foot it’s floral bouquet and flavoursome notes, perfect for use as the base tea for our flavoured teas. This is the first priority for the perfect Earl Grey cuppa.  We have tried many teas from various other plantations around the world to get the perfect base!  Secondly we use flavouring oils not crystals to give the tea drinker an olfactory sensation before sampling the liquid tea treat. Thirdly we specify natural flavours. High quality tea tastes good so we don’t want to mask the natural taste of the high grown Ceylon tea! We think you’ll agree with us!

Flowery consists of large leaves, typically plucked in the second or third flush with an abundance of tips. Golden flowery includes very young tips or buds (usually golden in colour) that were picked early in the season. High-quality tea with a long leaf and few tips, considered the second grade in Assam, Dooars, and Bangladesh teas, but the first grade in China.

Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe
Higher proportion of tip than FOP. Top grade in the Milima and Marinyn regions, but uncommon in Assam and Darjeeling.
