It is best taken without milk, allowing the clean sweetness and naturally lively character of the leaf to come through fully.
How to Brew Lucky Dragon Hyson Organic
Use water cooled after boiling to around 80°C. Add one heaped teaspoon per cup and steep for 2 to 3 minutes.
A 2-minute brew gives a lighter, fresher cup. A 3-minute infusion brings out a little more body and vegetal depth.
The twisted leaves will slowly unfurl as they steep and are well worth a second infusion. For the second brew, extend the steeping time slightly for a softer, more delicate cup.
