Organic Rooibos Loose Leaf Tea from the Cederberg Mountains
Cederberg Organic Rooibos is a pure red bush herbal tea from South Africa, where rooibos is grown in and around the Cederberg mountain region. Similar specialist retailers consistently emphasise the Cederberg origin, natural caffeine-free character and smooth, mellow cup as the defining qualities of premium organic rooibos.
This is a wonderfully approachable infusion: rich in colour, gentle in flavour and naturally suited to any time of day.
Smooth, Mellow and Naturally Sweet
In the cup, this Organic Rooibos loose leaf tea brews to a deep amber-red liquor with a rounded, soft body. The flavour is naturally mellow and gently sweet, with a smooth finish and subtle honey-like warmth.
Because rooibos is naturally low in tannin, it remains notably soft and forgiving in the cup, without the bitterness that can develop in some more tannic teas.
Naturally Caffeine Free Red Bush Tea
Rooibos contains no caffeine and is therefore especially versatile: satisfying as a morning alternative to traditional tea, calming as an evening cup and easy to enjoy at any hour. Competitor pages regularly position organic rooibos as a naturally caffeine-free, all-day herbal tea for exactly this reason.
Its gentle sweetness means it is delicious on its own, though it also welcomes milk, lemon or a little honey if preferred.

A Comforting Cup for Morning or Evening
Cederberg Organic Rooibos is one of the most dependable caffeine-free teas to keep in the cupboard. It has enough richness to feel satisfying in the morning, while its naturally smooth character makes it equally suited to a slower evening brew.
It is also excellent chilled, where its mellow sweetness becomes especially refreshing.
How to Brew Cederberg Organic Rooibos
Use freshly boiled water at 100°C and add one heaped teaspoon per cup. Steep for 5 to 8 minutes, depending on how full and rounded you like the cup.
Rooibos is a forgiving infusion and does not readily turn bitter with a longer steep. Drink it plain, add a splash of milk, try a slice of lemon or stir in a little honey if desired.
For a cold brew, steep a generous measure in cold water in the fridge for several hours, then strain and serve over ice.
Ingredients
Organic rooibos, Aspalathus linearis.

Cederberg Organic Rooibos
Loose leaf is definitely the way to go. This tea is so smooth on the palate. No residual bitterness or dryness that is often associated with tea bags from my experience.
Excellent caffeine free tea, strong enough to take a little milk, with a nice tea flavour.
Great service and brilliant flavour from a quality looking tea
