Our Vanilla matcha powder is a finely ground Japanese green tea powder blended with natural vanilla flavouring for a smooth, fragrant and gently sweet cup. Vanilla Matcha Powder with Natural Vanilla Flavour
Matcha is made from specially grown green tea leaves that are finely ground into a silky powder, creating a tea that is prepared by whisking the whole leaf into water rather than infusing and removing it. This gives matcha its distinctive colour, rich texture and concentrated flavour.
In this blend, high-quality matcha green tea powder is carefully paired with natural vanilla flavouring. The vanilla softens the greener, more vegetal side of the tea and adds a warm, rounded sweetness while allowing the character of the matcha itself to remain clear.

Ideal for Matcha Lattes, Iced Drinks and Baking
Vanilla Matcha can be prepared traditionally with hot water and a bamboo whisk, but it is equally well suited to milk-based drinks. It makes a particularly enjoyable matcha latte with oat, soya or dairy milk, where the vanilla becomes even more expressive.
It can also be served chilled over ice, blended into smoothies, stirred through porridge or used in baking where a gentle green tea flavour and natural vanilla warmth are desired.
How to Prepare Vanilla Matcha Powder
Use water cooled slightly after boiling, ideally around 75°C to 80°C. Sift approximately one level teaspoon of powder, around 2g, into a bowl or jug to help prevent lumps.
Add a small splash of hot water and whisk briskly in a W or M motion until smooth and lightly frothy. Then add a further 100 to 150ml of hot water or warmed milk and whisk again briefly. For an iced vanilla matcha latte, whisk the powder first with a little hot water, then pour over ice and top with cold milk of your choice.
