How to Brew Chocolate Orange Loose Leaf Black Tea

Use freshly boiled water at around 95°C to 100°C and add one heaped teaspoon per cup. Steep for 3 to 4 minutes.

A 3-minute brew keeps the orange brighter and the cup a little lighter. A 4-minute infusion gives more body and brings the chocolate note forward more fully.

This tea takes milk very well. Avoid over-brewing beyond 5 minutes, as the black tea can become more astringent and reduce the smoothness of the flavour.
