The Christmas Tea Sample Box brings together ten of the most loved and most seasonal teas and infusions from the High Teas London range, each one packed in a generous 15g sample — enough to explore properly and form a genuine view. From the first cup on Christmas morning to a calming infusion after the festivities, this is a loose leaf tea gift set with something for every moment and every mood across the holiday season.

The collection begins with two classic black teas. The Dubliners Luxury Irish Breakfast is bold, full-bodied, and rich — exactly what a cold December morning calls for. The Assam Mangalam is a single-estate loose leaf black tea from one of Assam's most prized gardens, valued for its deep maltiness and natural brightness. The Baroness Grey adds a more fragrant dimension, a softly perfumed take on the traditional grey style that works beautifully as an afternoon cup.

Alongside these sit a thoughtfully chosen range of flavoured blends: the warming Cinnamon Flavoured Black Tea, the bright and citrusy Orange with Zests, the indulgent Christmas Cookie, and the layered, aromatic depth of the Indian Mocha Chai. Rounding out the selection are three naturally caffeine-free infusions — a vibrant Passionfruit and Orange Infusion, the floral and tropical Mango with Flowers, and the clean, palate-cleansing Mint and Lemongrass, a particularly welcome brew after a rich Christmas meal.

High Teas London was founded in 2008 with a simple aim: to bring genuinely exceptional tea to as many cups as possible. With one of the largest loose leaf collections in the country — over 350 teas and infusions — this Christmas sample box is a considered portrait of the range, chosen with care for the season.

Ingredients: Each box contains 10 x 15g samples — Dubliners Luxury Irish Breakfast, Assam Mangalam, Cinnamon Flavoured Black Tea, Orange with Zests, Baroness Grey, Christmas Cookie, Indian Mocha Chai, Passionfruit and Orange Infusion, Mint and Lemongrass, Mango with Flowers.

Brewing Note: Each of the ten teas in this box has its own ideal brewing method. The black teas — Dubliners Irish Breakfast, Assam Mangalam, Cinnamon Flavoured Black Tea, Orange with Zests, Baroness Grey, and Christmas Cookie — all brew well with freshly boiled water and a steep of 3 to 4 minutes; the Baroness Grey benefits from water just off the boil at around 95°C to protect its more delicate character. The Indian Mocha Chai is excellent made strong with a 4 to 5 minute steep, with milk added to taste. The three caffeine-free infusions — Passionfruit and Orange, Mint and Lemongrass, and Mango with Flowers — respond well to fully boiling water and a longer steep of 5 to 7 minutes, which draws out the full depth of the fruit and botanicals.
