🍵 The Blend — A Sencha-style loose leaf green tea paired with warming cinnamon and soft rose petals, producing a spiced floral infusion with genuine depth and a naturally light hand

🍵 The Colour — A pale, luminous golden-green liquor, clean and inviting in the cup, with a warm, spiced aroma that rises gently the moment hot water meets the leaf

🍵 The Character — Lightly grassy and honey-sweet from the green tea base, with cinnamon adding a comforting warmth and rose petals lending a quiet floral note to the finish

🍵 The Occasion — A comforting cup for cooler afternoons or quiet autumn mornings; equally rewarding brewed light and poured over ice in the summer months

Cinnamon green tea loose leaf is one of those combinations that makes immediate, intuitive sense — the clean, naturally sweet freshness of green tea and the warming depth of cinnamon complementing one another in a way that feels both considered and effortless. Cinnamon Sibu brings this pairing to life with the addition of soft rose petals, creating a spiced floral green tea that is distinctive without being showy.

The green tea at the heart of this blend is processed in the Sencha style, with leaves gently heated shortly after harvest to halt oxidation and preserve their natural freshness. This produces a pale, golden-green liquor — clear and bright in the cup — with the characteristic gentle sweetness and lightly grassy character of a well-made green tea. Cinnamon follows from this base with warmth and a subtle, woody spice that adds depth without overpowering. It balances the freshness of the leaf rather than competing with it. Rose petals complete the blend with a quiet floral note, softening the aroma and rounding the finish with a pleasing elegance.

Cinnamon has a long and well-documented history as a warming spice across South and Southeast Asian traditions, where it has been valued as much for its aromatic character as for the depth it lends to a cup. Combined with green tea — which tempers the spice and draws out its sweeter, more aromatic qualities — the result is a cup that feels simultaneously comforting and uplifting, and suited to any time of day.

Since 2008, High Teas London has been one of the country's leading independent tea specialists. With a collection of over 350 teas and infusions — one of the largest in the country — our approach has always been to source teas that genuinely earn their place, whether a well-loved classic or a more unusual blend like this one.

Ingredients: Green tea, cinnamon, rose petals, natural flavouring.

Brewing Note: Green tea is more sensitive to water temperature than many people realise, and boiling water can scorch the leaf and draw out a bitterness that was never intended. For Cinnamon Sibu, allow the kettle to cool for two to three minutes after boiling, or aim for around 75 to 80 degrees C. Use one heaped teaspoon per cup and steep for two to three minutes. A shorter steep keeps the cup delicate and floral, with the cinnamon sitting quietly in the background; a little longer and the spice steps forward more confidently. This blend also responds well to cold brewing — add a generous teaspoon to a glass of cold water and leave it in the fridge overnight for a smooth, naturally sweet iced green tea that is particularly good in warmer weather.

Extremely pleasant and helpful advice in selecting a number of teas.
Once again I can experience great quality tea as opposed to overpriced "swept tea dust" from supermarkets sold as loose leaf tea.
Fast delivery in great eco friendly packaging.
Highly recommend High Teas London for quality experience.

Use freshly boiled water (95–100°C) and steep 1 teaspoon of tea for 3–5 minutes, depending on your preferred strength. It pairs well with milk due to its malty character.
