How to Brew Darjeeling Second Flush Loose Leaf Tea

Use water cooled slightly after boiling, ideally around 90°C to 95°C. Add approximately 2 to 3g of leaf per cup and steep for 3 to 4 minutes.

A shorter infusion gives a lighter, more lifted cup. A slightly longer brew brings out more warmth, nuttiness and black tea depth. Drink without milk for the clearest expression of the muscatel notes, or add just a little if preferred.
