How to Brew English Breakfast House Blend

Use freshly boiled water at 100°C and add one heaped teaspoon per cup. Steep for 3 to 4 minutes.

A 3-minute brew gives a brighter, brisker cup. A 4-minute infusion brings out more malt, colour and body, especially if you are adding milk.

Add milk after brewing so you can judge the strength of the tea first. For a teapot, use the same leaf-to-water ratio and give the brew a gentle stir before pouring.
