🍵 The Collection — Ten distinct flavoured loose leaf teas — a mix of black and green — each presented in a 15g sample that brews up to eight cups

🍵 The Cups — Wide-ranging and vivid: from a deep amber cinnamon black to a pale jade cherry sencha, each of the ten is its own experience

🍵 The Character — Flavours spanning warm baking spice, bright bergamot, sharp blackcurrant, tropical rum, ripe orange zest, and cool mint — with something to suit every palate

🍵 The Occasion — An ideal gift for any tea lover, a personal tasting flight, or the most practical way to find your next favourite before committing to a full caddy

This flavoured tea sample box brings together ten of High Teas London's most popular flavoured loose leaf teas in a single, beautifully varied collection. Each variety arrives as a generous 15g sample — enough to brew six to eight cups — giving a total of up to 75 cups across the box. Whether it is a gift for a dedicated tea lover or a personal introduction to the world of flavoured loose leaf, this is a collection that holds its own from the very first brew.

The black teas in the selection cover considerable ground. Prince of Wales Blend — also known as Country House Afternoon Tea — takes a classical approach: mellow, rounded, and well suited to a quiet afternoon. Fruits of Samarkand is altogether more adventurous, a richly layered blend drawing on the exotic dried fruits associated with the ancient Silk Road city of the same name. Cinnamon Flavoured Black Tea brings gentle warmth and spice to a full-bodied cup, while Jamaican Rum and Cream is indulgent and playful — a firm favourite with those who enjoy a bolder, more characterful brew. Blackcurrant and Orange with Zests are clean and vivid, each made with real fruit rather than artificial flavouring. The Lady Grey Blend rounds out the black teas with soft citrus and a delicate, refined character.

Among the green teas, Earl Grey Sencha with Wild Bergamot offers a fresh and fragrant take on a familiar theme, pairing the grassy brightness of Japanese sencha with the floral lift of real bergamot. Japanese Cherry Sencha is light, naturally sweet, and gently floral. Peppermint Green closes the collection with a cool, refreshing finish — clean on the palate and particularly good served long.

Finding teas of this range and quality is what High Teas London has been doing since 2008. With one of the largest collections in the country — over 350 teas and infusions from the world's finest gardens — we believe the best way to find your next favourite is simply to try as many as possible. This box is a fine place to start.

Brewing Note: The teas in this collection span two quite different bases, so a little attention to temperature makes a real difference. The black teas — including Prince of Wales, Cinnamon, Jamaican Rum and Cream, Blackcurrant, Orange with Zests, Fruits of Samarkand, and Lady Grey — are best brewed with freshly boiled water at 100°C, steeped for 3 to 4 minutes according to your preferred strength. The three green teas — Earl Grey Sencha, Japanese Cherry Sencha, and Peppermint Green — benefit from cooler water at around 75 to 80°C with a shorter steep of 2 to 3 minutes; this prevents any bitterness and lets the more delicate flavours come through cleanly. Letting the kettle rest for a minute or two after boiling is the simplest way to hit the right temperature for the senchas without any specialist equipment.

Use freshly boiled water (95–100°C) and steep 1 teaspoon of tea for 3–5 minutes, depending on your preferred strength. It pairs well with milk due to its malty character.
