Our Loose leaf breakfast tea India Breakfast Blend brings together bold Assam, aromatic Darjeeling and bright Nilgiri black teas in one deeply satisfying cup. Rich, full-bodied and beautifully balanced, it has the strength to take milk with confidence, while still offering enough fragrance and finesse to enjoy black — a classic morning tea with far more character than an ordinary breakfast blend.
Loose Leaf Breakfast Tea with Assam, Darjeeling and Nilgiri
India Breakfast Blend is a carefully composed black tea made from three of India’s most celebrated growing regions. Each origin contributes something essential, creating a cup that feels robust, lively and highly drinkable.
Assam provides the deep malty body. Darjeeling adds a lighter floral lift and a whisper of muscatel complexity. Nilgiri brings brightness and a clean, brisk finish that keeps the blend fresh rather than heavy.
A Full-Bodied Indian Black Tea Blend
In the cup, this loose leaf breakfast tea brews to a rich, deep amber liquor with a lively clarity. It is warming and substantial, yet never dull or flat.
The Assam gives the blend satisfying depth, the Darjeeling introduces aromatic elegance, and the Nilgiri sharpens the finish beautifully. Together, they create a tea that feels rounded from first sip to last.
Made for Mornings, Excellent All Day
This is an ideal breakfast tea for those who want a stronger, more characterful start to the day. It pairs beautifully with milk, which softens the blend and brings the malty Assam notes forward.
It is equally rewarding taken black, particularly with a slightly shorter infusion, when the Darjeeling and Nilgiri components show more clearly. That versatility makes it just as welcome mid-morning or in the afternoon.

A More Refined Breakfast Tea
What sets India Breakfast Blend apart is its balance. It has the body expected of a proper morning tea, but the inclusion of Darjeeling and Nilgiri gives it added fragrance and lift.
The result is a breakfast blend with genuine dimension — strong enough to satisfy, polished enough to enjoy slowly.
How to Brew India Breakfast Blend
Use freshly boiled water at 100°C and add one heaped teaspoon per cup. Steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
A 3-minute brew gives a brighter cup with more floral lift from the Darjeeling. A 4-minute infusion draws out fuller Assam malt and a stronger breakfast character.
This blend takes milk very well. For drinking black, the shorter steep is especially rewarding.
Ingredients
Assam black tea, Darjeeling black tea, Nilgiri black tea.
