Our Moroccan Mint loose leaf green tea is a clean, fragrant blend of green tea and Egyptian mint, creating a bright, cooling cup with a smooth body and naturally refreshing finish. Light, lively and beautifully balanced, it is equally enjoyable after meals, as an afternoon tea or brewed cold over ice on warmer days.
Moroccan Mint Loose Leaf Green Tea with Egyptian Mint
Moroccan Mint loose leaf green tea brings together smooth green tea and bright mint in one of the world’s most enduring and refreshing tea combinations. Similar specialist blends are commonly presented as mint green teas inspired by North African tea tradition, valued for their cooling aroma, lively flavour and suitability for both hot and iced drinking.
This version uses Egyptian mint for a clean, naturally sweet lift that complements the green tea base without overwhelming it.
Fresh, Cooling and Naturally Refreshing
In the cup, this Moroccan Mint loose leaf green tea brews to a pale golden infusion with bright clarity and a clean, fragrant aroma. The flavour is smooth and green-tea fresh, lifted by mint’s cooling sweetness and finished with a crisp, lively freshness that makes the tea especially easy to return to.
It is a cup that feels both invigorating and calming — ideal after food, in the afternoon or whenever something lighter and more refreshing is called for.
Inspired by a Classic North African Tea Tradition
Moroccan mint tea is traditionally prepared with green tea, mint and sugar, then poured from a height into small glasses as part of a well-known hospitality ritual. Contemporary tea retailers often use Moroccan Mint to describe green tea blended with mint, whether served simply or adapted towards the traditional sweeter style.
This blend is designed to be flexible: clean and refreshing on its own, or easily sweetened if you prefer a more traditional Moroccan-style cup.

How to Brew Moroccan Mint Loose Leaf Green Tea
Use water at around 80°C to 85°C and add one heaped teaspoon per cup. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes for a clean, bright infusion.
For a stronger, more traditional Moroccan-style brew, use hotter water, steep a little longer and sweeten generously to taste. For iced tea, steep the leaves in cold water in the fridge for 4 to 6 hours, then strain and serve chilled.
