🍵 The Blend — A carefully balanced combination of green and black tea leaves, lifted with soft peach flavour and adorned with whole rose petals and cheerful sunflower blossoms

🍵 The Colour — Brews to a warm, golden liquor with a peachy blush, as beautiful in the cup as the ingredients are in the tin — a tea worth brewing in glass

🍵 The Flavour — Gently fruity and softly floral, with sweet peach over a smooth, rounded base; naturally sweet enough to enjoy without milk or sugar

🍵 The Occasion — Ideal for long afternoons, light lunches, or weekend mornings when something a little more considered is called for — wonderful served hot or over ice in summer

Some teas set out to do one thing well. This one sets out to do several — and achieves them with quiet elegance. The marriage of green and black tea in a single blend is not a new idea, but it is one that rewards a thoughtful hand. The black tea contributes body, depth, and a smooth, grounding warmth; the green tea brings freshness, a cleaner character, and a lighter brightness that stops the cup from becoming heavy. Together they create a base that is genuinely balanced — more rounded than either tea alone, and more interesting too.

What lifts this blend into something particularly lovely is the addition of soft peach flavour, whole rose petals, and sunflower blossoms. The peach note is present without being insistent — sweet rather than sharp, fruity without tipping into the artificial. The rose petals lend a whisper of florality and make the dry leaf a pleasure to look at before a single cup has been brewed. The sunflower blossoms contribute lightness and a cheerful visual warmth, lending the tin as much appeal as the pot.

The result in the cup is a warm golden liquor with an inviting aroma — peachy, floral, and quietly refreshing. It is naturally sweet enough to need neither milk nor sugar, and the delicate fruit and floral notes come through at their very best when drunk plain. With a small measure of honey it becomes something a little more indulgent. Many people enjoy this blend equally well cold: brewed in the morning, allowed to cool, and poured over ice it makes a fragrant and elegant summer drink.

This is a tea for unhurried moments — lazy weekend mornings, long afternoons with a book, or the quiet quarter-hour before a busy day begins in earnest. It pairs beautifully with light pastries, shortbread, or a plate of fresh fruit.

Finding teas of this quality is what High Teas London has been doing since 2008. With one of the largest collections in the country — over 350 teas and infusions from the world's finest gardens — our aim has always been to offer something genuinely special for every kind of tea drinker, from robust single-estate blacks to lighter, more fragrant blends like this one.

Ingredients: Green tea, black tea, peach flavouring, rose petals, sunflower blossoms.

Brewing Note: Because this blend combines both green and black tea, water temperature is worth paying attention to. Boiling water risks drawing bitterness from the green tea and dulling the delicate peach and rose notes that give this blend its character. Aim for water at around 85°C — just off the boil, or boiled and left to stand for two to three minutes — and steep for 3 to 4 minutes. For a lighter, more floral result, steep closer to 3 minutes; for a fuller, more rounded cup, push gently to 4. This blend is also well worth trying cold: brew at double strength, allow to cool fully, and serve over ice with a slice of peach or a few fresh mint leaves for a beautiful summer infusion.

Please note: In order to become more environmentally-friendly we no longer add large coloured labels to our tea packets. Simply peel off the small name label from the back of your packet to make it totally biodegradable! Gift tubes are as shown.

Use freshly boiled water (95–100°C) and steep 1 teaspoon of tea for 3–5 minutes, depending on your preferred strength. It pairs well with milk due to its malty character.
