Our Rum and cream loose leaf black tea Jamaican Rum and Cream is a smooth, indulgent flavoured black tea with warm rum notes, creamy sweetness and a gentle tropical softness from coconut flakes. Rounded and aromatic without becoming overly sweet, it offers a satisfying amber cup with enough black tea depth to keep every sip beautifully balanced — a comforting dessert-style tea for slow afternoons and cosy evenings.
Rum and Cream Loose Leaf Black Tea with Coconut
Jamaican Rum and Cream is a richly scented black tea blend created for moments when something a little more indulgent feels exactly right. The warming character of rum flavouring is softened by creamy notes and rounded further with coconut flakes, producing a cup that feels mellow, aromatic and quietly luxurious.
The black tea base gives the blend structure and substance, keeping it firmly in the world of proper tea rather than drifting into simple sweetness.
Smooth, Warming and Gently Tropical
In the cup, this Rum and cream loose leaf black tea brews to a warm amber liquor with a soft, inviting aroma. The rum and cream notes come through clearly, layered with a subtle coconut warmth and a faint fruit-like lift from the wild strawberry leaves.
The overall flavour is smooth and comforting, with a satisfying finish that makes it especially appealing as an afternoon or evening treat.
A Dessert-Style Black Tea with Real Balance
This is a flavoured black tea with richness, but also restraint. The cream note is gentle rather than heavy, the rum character is warming rather than boozy, and the black tea beneath gives the cup depth and definition.
Safflower petals add a little visual brightness to the leaf, while the coconut and strawberry leaf help build a softer, more rounded flavour profile.

A Comforting Tea for Slower Moments
Jamaican Rum and Cream is made for those occasions when an everyday black tea feels a little too plain. It is well suited to a relaxed afternoon break, a quiet evening cup or a teatime treat alongside biscuits or a simple dessert.
It is particularly enjoyable without milk, allowing the rum and cream character to stay clear and balanced. A small spoonful of honey can be added for an even more indulgent finish.
How to Brew Jamaican Rum and Cream
Use freshly boiled water at 100°C and add one heaped teaspoon per cup. Steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
A 3-minute brew gives a lighter, more fragrant cup with the flavour notes at their softest. A 4-minute infusion brings out more body from the black tea base and creates a slightly richer result.
Avoid brewing much beyond 5 minutes, as the black tea may begin to compete with the smoother rum and cream character.
Ingredients
Black tea, coconut flakes, wild strawberry leaves, flavouring, safflower.

To get the most out of the richness of this tea, I brew it for a minimum of 8 minutes. That way you enjoy every single sip. And yes it tastes of rum without the alcohol! Just make sure to add milk and honey.
I really enjoy this tea - it has a creamy rum and raisin ice-cream flavour to it (I drink my tea with brown sugar and evaporated milk, so this especially works). It's great at any time of day but a very nice dessert substitute when you're a bit twitchy for pud after dinner but have promised yourself to be good.
This tea has a lovely smooth flavour. I cant fault it
