Our Spiced black tea sachets from Dammann Frères bring together full-bodied Rwandan black tea with warming ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, pink peppercorn and clove. Presented in a box of 25 Cristal sachets, Thé Des Mille Collines is rich, aromatic and wonderfully comforting — delicious with a splash of milk or brewed directly in hot milk for a fuller, spiced cup.

Spiced Black Tea Sachets with Rwandan Tea and Warming Spices

Dammann Frères Thé Des Mille Collines takes inspiration from Rwanda’s lush, hilly landscapes and the strong, full-bodied black teas grown there. The Rwandan tea base gives this blend its depth and brightness, creating a lively foundation for the spice.

Ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, pink peppercorn and clove are layered through the black tea with real balance. The result is a fragrant, warming infusion that feels bold without becoming heavy — an excellent choice for those who enjoy spice-led black teas with refinement.

Rich, Aromatic and Comforting

In the cup, this spiced black tea is deep, warming and expressive. Ginger brings an immediate lift, cinnamon adds soft sweetness, and cardamom contributes a more aromatic, rounded note.

Pink peppercorn and clove give a gentle heat that lingers pleasantly on the finish, while the Rwandan black tea keeps the blend brisk, clear and satisfying.

Dammann Frères Cristal Sachets, Box of 25

This tea is supplied in 25 Dammann Frères Cristal sachets, offering a convenient way to enjoy a premium tea blend without compromising on flavour. The sachet format gives the tea and spices room to infuse properly, producing a cup with greater depth than a standard teabag.

It is ideal for everyday enjoyment, guest serving or anyone who wants a beautifully spiced black tea with simple, consistent preparation.

Enjoy with Milk or Brew Directly in Hot Milk

Thé Des Mille Collines can be enjoyed simply with water for a bold, aromatic cup, but it is especially pleasing with a drop of milk, which softens the spice and rounds the black tea.

For a richer preparation, brew the sachet directly in hot milk. This brings out the cinnamon and cardamom beautifully and creates a smooth, warming drink that feels particularly indulgent in colder weather.

How to Brew Dammann Frères Thé Des Mille Collines

Use freshly boiled water and steep one Cristal sachet for around 4 to 5 minutes, depending on how bold you prefer the flavour.

Add a splash of milk if desired. For a milk-brewed version, heat milk gently until hot but not boiling, add one sachet and allow it to infuse for several minutes before removing.

Good service

I can't tell you what the tea is likeas it was for a gift, but the service just before christmas was excellent, and my friend was delighted to receive her favourite (niche) tea (and I was happy to find it in the UK)

Use freshly boiled water (95–100°C) and steep 1 teaspoon of tea for 3–5 minutes, depending on your preferred strength. It pairs well with milk due to its malty character.
