Malty with a delicate grassy flavour. The most famous tea from this region of Vietnam. Beginning with a slight bitterness this tea quickly becomes deliciously sweet and deep on the palate. Grown in the mountainous region of Thai Nguyen, the high mountains shield the extreme sunlight of summer as well as freezing winds of winter so the environment is perfect for growing tea, with average temperature of 22 - 23c during the year.

Not my kind of tea

I can appreciate this is a different kind of tea, I won’t purchase it again but it’s good to try new teas I suppose.

Lovely tea!!!

I ordered the Vietnamese tea wonderfully fragrant and tastey. I also ordered the earl grey. Which has additional lemon peel making a much nice fruity taste.
I was very pleased to have 2 packets of smaller tea to trial which I thought was a nice touch!
Thank you high teas I will be back again!

Great taste at a great price

I have been using the Vietnam - Tan Cuong Hoangbinh Green Tea for some time after swapping from a more expensive type. This tea has proved to be a great tasting and more economical alternative. I find that to gain the full flavour it needs steeping for around two minutes. You can leave it longer as it doesn't turn bitter as some teas do. Highly recommended.
