A top quality 2nd Flush tea with an orange-coloured cup and flowery flavour. A rarity from Africa, where teas are now mainly produced using the CTC methods; only the highland plantations Kaproret, Saramek and Chemase in the district of Kericho are still cultivating crossings of Chinese bushes in the traditional way. The demand largely exceeds the small yields but thanks to longstanding business relationships we have always been able to secure the best qualities from the second main plucking phase. Due to their striking golden brown leaf tips their shining, orange-colored cup and the strong slightly flowery flavour those are often mistaken for Chinese Yunnan teas.
