Grown at elevations of up to 2500m, this tea rivals many a Darjeeling. Nilgiri produces a mellow liquor with a clean, fruity finish and is ideal for iced tea because of its low astringency and pleasant, non-cloudy appearance.

A well-bodied flavoursome tea, very drinkable at any time of day
When made weaker and sipped without milk, Nilgiri "Blue Mountain" tea is not unlike Nilgiri "Thiashola Estate" tea. However, when made stronger and drunk with milk, "Blue Mountain" demonstrates a whole range of additional flavours, producing a lovely breakfast or afternoon brew. A truly versatile tea!
mediocre and disappointing
One of my current favourites, this tea seems like a bit of a bargain, so I buy lots of it!
This tea has a lovely clean, refreshing taste and I enjoy a mug of it when I fancy a change from my usual Ceylon and Assam teas.Highly recommended.
