Bai Maio Hou - White Monkey

A fluffy leaf yields a light green infusion with a mild cup with nuances of honey. A must for every lover of green tea. Bai Mao Hou White Monkey is a traditional green tea variety that grows along the slopes of the Taimu mountains in Fujian province of China. The young leaves and unopened buds are carefully gathered and processed exclusively by hand. The result is a tea that appears intricately woven with large and beautiful white tips looking like white-haired monkey's paws hence the name! It produces a pale yellow coloured cup fresh and subtly seaweed spinach like vegetal aroma infused with delicate sweetness nutty flavour and a slightly dry finish.
