The very best high-grown Ceylon tea is blended with natural oil of Calabrian bergamot and the prettiest of blue cornflowers. A superb quality tea! Traditionally Earl Grey was a blend of Chinese and Indian teas scented with oil from the citrus bergamot fruit, a citrus fruit similar to oranges. We only use high-grown teas from the top 3 tea growing regions of Sri Lanka: Eliya, Dimbula and Uva. These three high-growing districts produce flavourful teas that have that classic 'Ceylon' tea character which is noted for its floral bouquet and flavoursome notes, perfect for use as the base tea for our flavoured teas. This is the first priority for the perfect Earl Grey cuppa. We have tried many teas from various other plantations around the world but this was our all time favourite combination. Importantly, we use flavouring oils not crystals to give the tea drinker an olfactory sensation before sampling the tea. All flavours are totally natural.
