A fine example from the Wuji Mountains with a large, open, slightly greyish to black leaf with a sharp note of spicy smoke. The larger leaves from the bottom of the plant are picked for this tea. After fermentation these leaves are put on hot iron pans and roasted for a short while and then smoked over pinewood rich in resin.

It could be "smokier" for my taste. Otherwise OK.
simply Fantastic
Lapsang Souchong is definitely an acquired taste but for me this tea ticks all the boxes it has a fantastic smoky taste.
