Grown in Anshi Fujian province this tea is picked in the spring at elevations over 3000 feet. The tea looks like small blue-green pebbles. This pebble form is a result of the tea leaves being glazed and coated with a thin layer of liquorice sugar. When the pebbles are infused the liquorice sugar coating melts and the resulting brew is amber-coloured and sweet. A unique tea. An Imperial favourite. Hand selected leaves with taste layers of orchid and mallow flowers create a rare pale green-yellow tending to amber. An exceptional tea.
Please note: In order to become more environmentally-friendly we no longer add large coloured labels to our tea packets. Simply peel off the small name label from the back of your packet to make it totally biodegradable! Gift tubes are as shown.
