Flowery and grassy tea with full body and a little tartness. First established in 1861, the Ambootia tea garden only really became a first class tea producer in the 1980's. Modernisation by the present owner and establishing cultivation using organic methods has made this estate one of the finest in the region. The Ambootia Tea Estates now covers nearly 1000 hectares of which more than 350 hectares are under tea.
Please note: In order to become more environmentally-friendly we no longer add large coloured labels to our tea packets. Simply peel off the small name label from the back of your packet to make it totally biodegradable! Gift tubes are as shown.

An excellent first flush with typical muscatel taste and floral top-notes. Highly recommend as a quenchable lower caffeine tea. Thank you High Teas for stocking this fine tea.
I have not tried first flush Darjeeling tea before and am very pleased with the taste. I look forward to a pot full in the evening.
