One of the great tea estates in the Dimbula region, Kirkoswald is a modern showpiece of an estate with an extensively developed Factory with state of the art technology and management adding high value to its teas. This is a full-bodied tea with lovely flavour. The cup is coppery bright with golden notes. Kirkoswald is among a cluster of world-famous tea plantations situated well around the upper range of high-grown elevation. Waterfalls, with their rugged background of rock with tea gardens at various elevations towering above them provide an enchanting view. During the dry season the atmosphere becomes crisp and refreshing and tea produced during this time of the year gives a bright flavoured cup best taken with milk at breakfast time. During the first quarter of the year buyers battle each other with airmail inquiries and often the instructions are ‘buy at best’. You have to savour the teas to know the difference.
Please note: In order to become more environmentally-friendly we no longer add large coloured labels to our tea packets. Simply peel off the small name label from the back of your packet to make it totally biodegradable! Gift tubes are as shown.

This is so much nicer than tea bags! Lovely flavour and fresh tasting.
I'm not normally a fan of Ceylon, but I keep coming back to this one.
