A fine green tea in which each leaf has been rolled into a small round pellet.
Rolling the tea renders it less susceptible to physical damage and allows the tea to retain more of the flavour and aroma. This is a particularly fine example. This is a superior and finer version of Gunpowder known as Zucha or Pearl Tea. The tea is dried in rolling drums and the constant rotation gived the tea its spherical form.It has a greenish dry golden liquor much appreciated throughout the Middle East with a light smoke and nutty character.
