Fine high-grown Ceylon teas are blended with deep blue Provence lavender to create a fragrant tea. The infusion is bright and coppery and floral notes blend with a citrus sweetness.

Lavender Earl Grey

Not what I hoped for

I love Earl Grey and the smell of lavender, so Lavender Early Grey sounded like the perfect brew for me. Unfortunately, not so. Just like colors, mixing all your favorite flavours will not give you the perfect taste, instead some non-descript shade of gray or brown. In this case a non-descript Earl Grey. The failure in flavor may also be down to execution. The bergamot in this felt overpowering almost souring the taste. The lavender did not add the hoped for twist. The overall product was a brew I do not enjoy drinking that often.

Best of the best

I've been a perennial seeker of the best lavender earl grey for years and have tried just about everything out there - Gold Medal Winners included. There are some pretty revolting excuses for Earl Grey out there, usually with not enough Bergamot or they use a cheap old and strong tea leaf which doesn't give you the subtlety of a good blend. This is the best one I've ever found - incredible aroma, delicious bergamot notes that don't bludgeon your taste buds set in a gorgeous aromatic base tea. You get what you pay for with teas and this is worth every penny. I also recommend their decaffeinated earl grey - also top notch!
