Refreshing and calming
This one isn't coming out strong enough for us.
This is a gorgeous tea. Made with boiling water, I steeped it for 3 minutes, and managed two infusions from the same leaves. The dry leaves all appear non-uniform in shape; the liquor has a deep russet colour and its body is rich and robust. Generous flavours of muscatel cascade from every sip, with an accompanying overtone of nutmeg. Fruity and spicy flavours abound; this is a memorable, robust tea. I added milk because the body called for an anchor; it handled it well. This tea would be good as an everyday afternoon tea -- perfect for the three-o'clock slump that always requires a jolt of energy to bring one back to life.
