Grown at elevations of up to 2500m, this tea rivals many a Darjeeling. Nilgiri produces a mellow liquor with a clean, fruity finish and is ideal for iced tea because of its low astringency and pleasant, non-cloudy appearance.
Please note: In order to become more environmentally-friendly we no longer add large coloured labels to our tea packets. Simply peel off the small name label from the back of your packet to make it totally biodegradable! Gift tubes are as shown.

mediocre and disappointing
One of my current favourites, this tea seems like a bit of a bargain, so I buy lots of it!
This tea has a lovely clean, refreshing taste and I enjoy a mug of it when I fancy a change from my usual Ceylon and Assam teas.Highly recommended.
One of the best teas I have ever tasted. Think I will drink this one exclusively
from now on,
The only tea seller in Uk, who sells so many varieties of my favourite tea - Nilgiri! Excellent customer service, with valued honest opinion from the seller. I'm an absolute tea buff. Have tried many teas, especialy with HIgh teas that make it so convinient with their 50gms sample packets. But over the years and my travels, I feel there is no tea as wonderful as the Nilgiri black tea leaves.
