A fine high-grown Uva Orange Pekoe with a full body and lovely floral notes. Has become a favourite amongst our tea buff customers. This classical shape Pekoe leaf shows remarkably thorough processing. Consumed at breakfast time this excellent tea will be enjoyed by all Ceylon connoisseurs. Dyraaba OP has a broad and twisty leaf - which when infused releases its flavour slowly. (Tea flavour comes from proteins in the leaf.) The cup is medium thick with a lightly floral almost wine-like profile. Dyraaba OP is grown in the Uva district where peak production occurs between July and September. We carefully select teas from this period only.
